The Picual is a Spanish olive variety originating in Andalusia and now flourishes in Northern Victoria.
Cobram Estate award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil is first cold-pressed from olives grown on the banks of the Murray River, where the Mediterranean climate and fertile red soils guarantee premium quality. The Reserve Picual was produced using their proprietary ‘Ultra Premium’ technique. Small, select parcels of Picual olives were picked at optimum ripeness and ultra cold-pressed into oil within 4 hours in the on-site mill. After pressing, the single-variety oil was allowed to settle before being tasted by our trained panel and classified as ‘Reserve’ quality – a grade only applied by their oil makers when the oil is truly exceptional.
unique oil making method showcases the varietal characters of the oil, delivering exceptionally fragrant, complex and flavoursome extra virgin olive oils. The Reserve Picual is a perfectly balanced oil, displaying clean notes of green olive fruits combined with tomato bush and fig leaf aromas. Complex flavours are well supported by moderate and well balanced levels of bitter and spicy sensations.

The quality of this oil simply levels up any boring dish we have at home whether it is a soup, salad, grilled vegetable or meat. A drizzle is sufficient for our taste buds to keep clamoring for more!.
Tasted it as it is and it transported me to a field of trees with their fresh scent. It was a surreal experience! No wonder it ups the level of taste of my salads
Can be used for dressing, sauces and cooking. The taste and smell is great and compliments dishes so well. Might try the other variant for my next purchase
Excellent fruity aroma, best drizzled over salads or a toast with a pinch of salt. On my second bottle now
